NEW YORK, NY -- Dagmar gave its world premiere debut performance to a sell-out crowd at JOE'S PUB in NYC. The Pub's BILL BRAGIN, a music lover, wonderful programmer, and early fan of Bauer's WEIMARBAND, booked the gig.
NEW YORK, NY -- Jim Bauer and Meghan McGeary first met and began working together in an early workshop performance of Bauer's experimental theater piece THE BLUE FLOWER at The Public Theater's "New Work Now" festival. Meghan was cast in the leading role of Hannah, and the two have worked together ever since, performing in NYC clubs with Bauer's WEIMARBAND, with subsequent productions of The Blue Flower (latest was an off-off Broadway production in NYC in Feb/March 2008, presented by THE PROSPECT THEATER COMPANY at The West End Theater, WILL POMERANTZ directing), and, starting in 2005, DAGMAR.
