            <title>NEW ALBUM PROJECT UNDERWAY</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>Bauer and McGeary begin a new album project this week, an EP of four songs that will provide the basis of a full album of "Folktronica" (folk meets dance/electronica) music that will in turn be the foundation for a theatrical show they are developing.&nbsp; "Dagmar The Musical" (the temporary reference title) will take the story of Dagmar from quiet beginning to raucous conclusion.&nbsp; Find out what happens to the guy who can't get out of bed in the morning and the insect goddess who plunges through the ether to rescue him.&nbsp; They'll be working with engineer/producer ROBBIE BRONNIMANN in the U.K.&nbsp; on the EP.&nbsp; Meghan and Jim are at Pontoon World Headquarters this week recording the initial tracks that Robbie will begin working his magic on next week.&nbsp; Jim heads to New York in mid-February for several recording sessions with Dagmar drummer/percussionist DAVID ROZENBLATT, our fourth collaborator on the project.&nbsp; We'll all be convening in Robbies "Robot Studios" in Bristol, U.K. at the end of March to wrap up the EP.</p>]]></description>

            <title>&amp;quot;THE BLUE FLOWER&amp;quot; OPENS AT A.R.T.</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.theblueflower.org" target="_blank">THE BLUE FLOWER</a>, a multi-media musical theater piece about "four interesting Germans and a love rectangle" that Jim and his wife Ruth have been developing since the turn of the century, opens its run at <a href="http://www.americanrepertorytheater.org" target="_blank">A.R.T.-The American Repertory Theater</a> in Cambridge, MA with a first preview performance tonight.&nbsp; The show opens December 8.&nbsp; Meghan and Jim met in 2001 when she joined the cast of "The Blue Flower" at an early workshop performance at Joe's Pub in NYC.&nbsp; She continues blowing audiences away in her role as Hannah, dangerously unpredictable Dada Girl.&nbsp; There will be 8 shows a week in the Loeb Drama Center.&nbsp; The show runs through January 8, 2011.&nbsp; Click on The Blue Flower link above to find out more about the show.&nbsp; Click on the A.R.T. link above for tickets and show times, and a wealth of other information about the show.</p><br /><p>Rehearsals began October 28th and with 8 shows/week coming up for Meghan through Jan 8, DAGMAR has been and will continue to be on a bit of a hiatus.&nbsp; When we return, we'll be starting our next album project -- a blend of folk and dance/electronica music we call "Folktronica".&nbsp; Should be the kind of album you can put on and dance the night away with.&nbsp; Or maybe sit on the couch with tears coming down your eyes.&nbsp; Or a little of both.</p>]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>We're several months into the process now, and just a few weeks away from completing "Door No. 3". &nbsp;Guitar, vocals, bass, drums (DOUG FULLER), hand percussion (DAVID ROZENBLATT), melodica, harmonica and accordion are recorded. &nbsp;STEVE LATT has completed his work on banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro and pedal steel guitar. &nbsp;Now we're in the process of putting it all together. &nbsp;We've been saying "a few weeks" now for months, so there's no reason to believe us. &nbsp;Onward through the fog . . . &nbsp;</p>]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>DAGMAR opened for most excellent friend and supremely talented MICHAEL FARKAS and his band <a href="http://www.thewiyos.com" target="_blank">THE WIYOS</a> on January 8th at The Center for the Arts in Natick, MA and January 9th at the St. Lawrence Art Center in bitterly cold Portland, Maine. &nbsp; It was a privilege and pleasure, a fire to cozy up to on a winter's night. &nbsp;These guys rock Americana, taking it on a fantastic spin. &nbsp;If you have a chance to see them, don't miss it.</p>]]></description>
